This is a story about an animal rescued by Terri, the owner of Modtoast.
Early one summer morning before sunrise in 2008, a sweet little black kitten with white patches of soft fur on his paws and tummy ran up onto Terri's porch, alone and afraid. He was being chased by another animal and was breathless and whimpering. At about a month old, he wasn't even sure of where he was. Terri heard his cries, and being the kindhearted animal lover that she is, she brought him into her home.
Later, she ran him to the veterinarian, where he was tested and given his shots. The vet found ear mites and belly worms. The poor kitten had been through a lot.
After the kitten was treated, Terri decided she would take care of him. She named him Boogie. This adorable little kitten has become a dear member of Terri's family and under this story, I've posted a picture of him the way he looks now. So adorable.
